Anna Kosma

Anna Kosma is the president of the Women's Association of Rural Larnaka, a position she has held since 2004. Anna also leads the Larnaka Countryside Business Networking Initiative, which aims to maintain and promote local traditions and culture; she organises, coordinates and promotes awareness-raising programmes. Her strengths lie in management and leadership, formulating communications strategies and nurturing interpersonal relationships, as well as organising, coordinating and promoting initiatives that benefit the community. Anna completed a PGDip in Management Studies from the Northern Council for Further Education (NCFE) in 2010 and also holds a diploma in Project Management from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She is currently working towards an MBA at UCLan Cyprus. Anna has attended more than 350 hours of seminars on leadership, leadership development and learning management in relation to local authorities, EU policies and programmes, as well as effective communications and human resources management. She found herself particularly adept at digital marketing. She was one of the first coordinators of the Let's Do It Cyprus campaign and was nominated as Woman of the Year at the Madame Figaro 2016 Awards under the category, Women Professionals of the Year. Anna currently manages the Environmental Information Centre of Larnaka Mountainous Area.
