Myrto Lambrou

Myrto Lambrou’s expertise lies in architecture, design and project management. She is currently completing her largest architectural project to date, a 1.5M Euro facility/complex which forms part of a factory campus. At the same time, she has been coordinating a team of seven interior designers, designing a large-scale entertainment project in Cyprus. In 2015, she developed a startup called Materics, providing structured market knowledge and tools to architects and other professionals in construction. This was a passion project, but nevertheless won first place in the Startup Live competition, and was admitted into the IDEA accelerator-incubator. Materics also gained Myrto a nomination for a Madame Figaro Woman of the Year Award for Entrepreneurship in 2016. Myrto has tutored design workshops organised by the Cyprus University of Technology and Chrysalis LEAP initiatives, focusing on conceptual design evolution, business viability, marketing and presentation. Since 2009, she has worked on residential, commercial and landscape design projects in Cyprus, Greece and the UAE. These projects took part in architecture competitions, or otherwise were public or private contracts. In 2009, she completed her studies in architecture at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, focusing on human study and avant-garde architecture. She also has an MBA from the Cyprus International Institute of Marketing. She has attended seminars on bio-climatic architecture, bio-mimicry principles, project management, presentation skills and marketing.
