Olga Papadimitri

Olga Papadimitri is a legal professional, a member of the Cyprus Bar Association and an Insolvency Practitioner. During her studies, she ran her own project called TolKultur@kom (Durch Toleranz zur Kultur und Kommunikation), supported by the Theodor-Heuss-Kolleg programme and the Robert Bosch Foundation (Germany), which focused on the issues of tolerance and human rights protection. She also coordinated other projects, dealing with equality and non-discrimination, e.g. 'Different in Diversity' (Warsaw) under the auspices of the Schuman Foundation, '!BEWEGE' (Berlin) which tackled migration, mobility and intercultural communication, and 'International Theaterfortbildung' which took place in cooperation with the Thalia Theatre in Halle, Germany. Olga holds a BA in International Private Law and an MA in International and European Law. Since 2010, she has been campaigning via her legal practice to raise awareness for Russian-speaking women dealing with domestic violence and in other disadvantaged situations.vOther than her core business pursuits, Olga volunteers with the Russian Church in Limassol lending a helping hand to those who need legal advice. She also organises trainings for Russian-speaking children in cooperation with 'Dreamcamp Internationale' and promotes family entertainment activities in Limassol.
